Jesus Loves You!!!

Today is 15 August... half of August has passed but it feels as if i have did one whole month of activities!! I have been occupied with so much exciting activites from national day celebration to cycling... thank you Jesus for bringing in so much fun and joy in my life!! All praises and glory to Jesus!!!

01 Aug - Preparation for National Day Party!!!

On that evening, we gathered at siglap to discuss the plan for our national day celebration at Cheryl's place. Hmm... we did not came out with any solid plan because it was tuesday night!! Oh.. why? What happen on tuesday night??!! Because all waffle ice-cream a Gelare were half-priced on tuesday!!! Hahaha...

All of us could not resist the temptation of Gelare waffle ice-cream!! Soooo yummy yum!! So nice!! I have forsaken my dinner and reserve my stomach for the waffle ice-cream.. and so i had one waffle by myself!! Sooo full!!!

Hmm... so in the end, did we came out with a plan for National Day party? The answer is NO!! Haha.. after having our yummy waffle ice-cream, we drop by Cheryl's place to see Cookie!!

Cookie went to the groomer's two days ago... oh now he look so marcho!! As what Cheryl said, he look like a real Schnauzer as he looks more sturdy and macho!! Haha... Rina and me love him lots!! Soooo cute!!!

Though we did not come out with a plan for National Day preparation, we did enjoy the fellowship that evening!! So much joy and fun fellowshipping with bros and sis in Christ!! Yea.... God is good... see what He did on the actual National Day Celebration... ...

09 Aug - National Day Party at Cheryl's Rooftop!!!

After 9 days of preparation... all the sweat and blood put in by the committee members... through the thick and thin... all effort and concentration... HAHAHA... All the above mention are craps. We did not prepare much... no blood and no sweat.. cause the blood of Jesus has been applied on the cross!! The Lord is there with us and there were so much fun.... and the party begins... ...

Evening sky... beautiful sunset and perfect moon!!! Whooo... this is the day which the Lord has made!! Hallelujah!! Initially, it was going to rain after we brought all the necessatities from Seng Siong. By faith, we pray and God is faithful!! These 2 are really good pictures taken by Sherman Ho!!

From buying groceries to food preparation... from marinating chicken to foiling sting ray and corn... from starting fire to various logistics setting... Look at the smile at Sherman's face... look at the dirty hand and sweat on both Bryan and Amos... Wow! you guys are really amazing!!

The BBQ begins!!! Oh yea.. i found out that there were a lot of bbq specialists! For the whole night, i did not bbq even one food and these specialists did all the bbq!! So nice right? Can see that Cheryl enjoyed bbq sooooo much in the midst of charcoal smoke!!

What did u observe from both pics? I found out there was a man who like to pose with a stick, he is wearing white and he has a consistent BIG smile!! Who is he?? Alvin Seng!!!!

Chatting and eating... what a cosy night!! Oh... Isaac, Cheryl and Sherman had the same style if tying the red scarf round their neck! Everyone attending the party need to decorate themselves with the red scarf.

We are suppose to pose with the fireworks at the background... but my camera could not catch the fireworks! Thank God Sherman caught a pretty nice view of the fireworks. So imagine us with the fireworks at the background... whoo.. so nice!! Haha..

It was such a fun and enjoyable party!! First of all, i want to give thanks to our Lord Jesus!! I want to thank Cheryl for opening up her place for the celebration!! I want to thank all the people who came early to help out in the groceries and preparing the food and bbq. And i want to thank all those who came... a BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF U !!!

05 Aug - Night Cycling to Central Singapore!!!

When?? One cooling evening... 05 Aug, Saturday, Set off at 8pm and end off at 5am.

Who?? Strength of 9 ... includes Me, Sherman, Cheryl, Kason, Isaac, Grace, James, Lynette and Hilda.

Where?? Set off from Marine Parade --- Esplanade for Fireworks --- Lau Pai Sai for Supper Round 1 --- Orchard 7-11 for refreshment --- Botanical Gardens to REST --- Along Bukit Timah --- Pass Bugis --- Geylang for Supper Round 2 --- East Coast for cool down --- BACK to Marine Parade!!!

Why?? Because we are a bunch of active youngster who loves to cycle at night!!!

How?? FUN, FUN and MORE FUN!!!

12 Aug - Night Cycling to North Singapore!!!

When?? One cooling evening... 12 Aug, Saturday, Set off at 745pm and end off at 5am.

Who?? Strength of 10 ... includes Me, Sherman, Cheryl, Kason, Isaac, Lynette, Rina, Annabelle, Caiyan and Amos.

Where?? Set off from East Coast --- Bedok Jetty for Wan Tan Mee --- Pass Bedok Area --- Temasek Poly for Phototaking --- Tampines Petrol Kiosk for Refreshment --- Pass Old Tampines Road--- Pass Punggol Park where we smell powder --- Rest at Punggol Kopi Tiam --- Jalan Kayu for Prata --- Pass Yio Chu Kang up slope and down slope --- Hougang Petrol Kiosk for Refreshment --- Pass Eunos and Still Road --- Back to East Coast!!!

Why?? Because the first time was really fun and we want to try out again!!

How?? MORE and MORE and MORE FUN!!!

For this time, the cycling experience was really great!! NO MORE butt pain... NO MORE tigh pain...hahaha... sounds pro ah!! This time i had a better bike and also i think is because of last week's experience!! Haha.. feel good sia!!

Wah.... is 4am in the morning!! We reached one of the petrol kiosk at Hougang!! We can do it!! Let's pull through this!!

Towards the end... everyone's morale became HIGH!! Haha... reaching reaching... as we cycle passed the underpass... we see the glimsp of light!!

Cycling Mission ACCOMPLISHED!! Wow!! All of us sure feel a sense of fulfillment!! Haha... I came to know that Cheryl look up on the tree because Isaac pull her pony tail!!

Returning bike.... i want to thank Jesus for the protection and safety. Yea Lord... i knew that Your Mighty Hand is on us protecting us while we were cycling... You are always watching over us... while we were having fun at this trip.. i can see You smiling.. You enjoyed seeing us have fun!! Thank you Jesus!!
